As therapists, our goal is to support couples to discover themselves, and each other, in the relationship.
When couples come to therapy, we seek to help them to understand not just how their words and actions influence their relationship, but the unconscious, sensory and emotional aspects of whom they are. It’s about what happens in their relationship at an unconscious level, that often creates the difficulties in the partnership. Through mindful exploration of what couples bring to therapy, we are able to help clients uncover unhelpful patterns of behaviour that influence the quality and wellbeing of their relationship.
Ultimately, our therapeutic goal is to rekindle love, respect and connection.
